In September 2021, Isabelle Habegger will present the exhibition “CUBIs & Co” at the Bahnhof Bäch Community and Cultural Centre.

The focus is on her monumental CUBIs. Created in 2017, these sculptures made from polished and fired chrome steel reach a height of up to 2.8 metres. Their minimalist design language, distinctive surface texture and spatial presence lend the works an almost architectural character.

The exhibition is accompanied by two special artistic interventions: at the opening, a water-and-sound performance combines visual art and sound. The closing event continues this dialogue with a live performance featuring Jehisson Santacruz on the flute and Mikko Olaya on the drum.

Art education is also part of the exhibition concept. As an artist and educator, Isabelle Habegger specifically opens up the exhibition to school groups, giving young visitors direct access to contemporary art.
