It is based on Swiss data protection legislation (DSG) and, where applicable, the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Hosting and server log files
When you visit this website, our hosting provider automatically collects technical information transmitted by your browser (so-called server log files): IP address, date and time of the request, page accessed, browser and operating system used, and the previously visited page (referrer). This data is used for the technical provision and security of the website and is automatically deleted after a short period of time.
Cloudflare (Content Delivery Network)
We use the Cloudflare service (Cloudflare, Inc.) to deliver content more quickly and to protect the website against misuse and attacks. In doing so, your IP address is routed through and processed by Cloudflare’s servers. Cloudflare acts on our behalf as a data processor.
Cookies
This website uses technically necessary cookies (e.g. a session cookie) to ensure that basic functions can be provided correctly. In addition, as described below, cookies from Google Analytics may be set. You can prevent cookies from being stored via your browser settings; however, this may restrict the functionality of the website.
Google Analytics
This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Ireland Limited or Google LLC (‘Google’). Google Analytics uses cookies to enable the analysis of website usage. IP anonymisation is enabled on this website: Your IP address is truncated by Google within the EU/EEA or Switzerland before any transmission, so that no direct personal link can be established with your full IP address. Only in exceptional cases is the full IP address transmitted to a Google server in the USA and truncated there.
You can prevent data collection by Google Analytics by installing the browser add-on available at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. Further information: Google Privacy Policy.
Plausible Analytics
In addition, we use a self-hosted instance of Plausible Analytics at plausible.burn-in.at to analyse visitor numbers. Plausible is a privacy-friendly web analytics service that operates without cookies and does not create individual visitor profiles. IP addresses are not stored; the data collected is analysed exclusively in aggregated and anonymised form. As the analysis takes place on our own infrastructure, no data is transferred to third parties.
Google Fonts
To ensure consistent font display, this website incorporates fonts from Google Fonts, which are loaded from Google’s servers. In doing so, your IP address may be transmitted to Google. Further information: Google Privacy Policy.
Embedded videos (YouTube)
On certain pages, we embed videos via YouTube in enhanced privacy mode (youtube-nocookie.com). According to Google, this mode only sets cookies once you actively play the video. When the video is played, a connection may be established with Google’s (YouTube LLC) servers and your IP address may be transmitted. Further information: Google Privacy Policy.
Contact form
You can use our contact form to provide us with your title, first name and surname, address, email address, company name, subject and your message. We use this information solely to process your enquiry and to reply by email. The legal basis is the fulfilment of your enquiry or our legitimate interest in orderly communication. The data will be deleted as soon as it is no longer required to process your enquiry.
Newsletter
If you subscribe to our newsletter, we will use your email address to send you news about Isabelle Habegger’s works, exhibitions and projects. Subscription is voluntary; you can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time via the unsubscribe link in every newsletter email or by sending us a message. Once you have unsubscribed, your email address will be removed from our mailing list.
Social media
On this website, you will find links to our profiles on YouTube, LinkedIn, Facebook and XING. These are simple links – simply visiting this website does not result in any data being transmitted to these platforms. Only when you click on one of these links do the privacy policies of the respective provider apply.
Your rights
You have the right to request information about the personal data we process concerning you, as well as to request the rectification, erasure or restriction of processing of such data. Where the GDPR applies, you also have the right to data portability and the right to object to processing. Please contact us at the address given above.
Right to lodge a complaint
You have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. In Switzerland, this is the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC); within the EU, it is the data protection authority in your country of habitual residence.
Data security
This website is delivered via an encrypted connection (SSL/TLS), as indicated by ‘https://’ and the padlock icon in your browser.
Changes to this Privacy Policy
We will update this Privacy Policy as soon as changes to the website or legal requirements make this necessary. The version currently published on this page shall apply.
