About the Exhibition
To mark the Swiss Mill Day, the Foundation for the Preservation of the Neumühle Wollerau Waterwheel brings together history, craftsmanship and contemporary art.
Twelve artists are transforming the 170-year-old blades of the historic waterwheel into unique works of art, thereby giving this traditional material a new lease of life.
Taking part are Isabelle Habegger, Barbara Schneider Gegenschatz, Esther Eggler-Ott, Roger Kälin, Roger Hofer, Hans Zehnder, Toni Ochsner, Jürg Hirrlinger, Eva Gratzl, Urs Martin Traber, Hanspeter Späni and Corinne Véya.
