With the SWISSARTEXPO 2019, Zurich’s main railway station was transformed into an extraordinary exhibition space for contemporary art for five days. With its high footfall, the station offered artists the opportunity to present their work to a broad international audience right in the heart of everyday urban life.

The exhibition combined original works with digital art presentations, turning the public space into a temporary museum.

Isabelle Habegger was represented with her two original works, “VÉNUS RÊVEUSE” and “MONDO MIO”. Further works by the artist were presented in large-format digital form in the SBB Hall.

This created a fascinating interplay of art, architecture and movement – and an encounter with contemporary art in a place that thousands of people pass through every day on their own personal journeys.
